Installations

The specialists at SMR have done over 100 installations of General Electric MRI and CT systems. All of our jobs are accurately completed with attention to detail, full calibration, magnet shimming and system tuning. Ensuring optimal image quality from your system.

Site Planning

Telephone, email, remote planning and consultations are FREE with any installation agreement.

De-installations

De-installations include system disassembly, with boxing and bubble wrapping of all parts and components to ensure safe transportation.

P.M.'s

6 to 12 Preventative Maintenance visits per year are provided, depending on your contract, to meet spec, plus all trouble shooting, repair, calibration, tune-up, and everything needed to keep your system running well with maximized image quality.

Magnet Shimming

Magnet shimming is done to the manufacturers specifications, with emphasis placed on getting the tightest shim possible for your magnet.

Passive Shimming

Passive shimming is required for a small number of magnets, which is an intensive shim. Similar to factory shims done during manufacturing. It is usually required due to environmental changes or system moves. In these situations, we can course shim your magnet and then complete the standard shim to bring your magnet to its optimal level.

Site Evaluations

System evaluations are recommended before purchasing any used system. A complete evaluation of system performances and operation to manufacturer specifications. We will identify defective parts, check performance and adjustment inconsistencies, and overall system performance will be thoroughly documented, described and listed in the final Site Evaluation Report provided to you.

Time and Materials or Day Rates

Time and material only, as well as daily rates are also available. Just tell us what you need, and we'll make it happen.
